The emotional reunion between a Nigerian man who serves in the US army and his family upon his return has melted hearts of many.

The US soldier identified as Franklyn Moses decided to return to Nigeria to pay his father a surprise visit after spending six years abroad.

He shared a video capturing the moment he was heading home from the airport while still in his military outfit.

When he reached his family home, his dad was the first person who spotted him but before he could react, the soldier’s sister leapt for joy and tears immediately started flowing from her eyes.



She could be seen going on her knees in the sand in pure happiness over the return of her brother. His dad was also emotional as he gave him a hug in the verandah of their house.

After they went inside the house, the man hugged him more passionately and emotions filled the atmosphere.
